01. Open the .jpg image
Copy and paste as new image
Close the originals

N.T.: About this tutorial: You will choose a black and white .jpg image. A fractal will give a good result. So, you can choose to work on the entire image in black and white or you can choose to color this same image. The author shows how to do it.
If you use an image different from the one provided in the material, the result will be different, depending on the image used.

IF YOU ARE WORKING IN BLACK AND WHITE:

02. Open a new transparent image measuring 1000 x 700px
03. Selections / Select All
04. Copy the .jpg image and paste it into the selection

07. Layers / Promote background layer
08. Copy
09. Open a new transparent image measuring 1000 x 700px
10. Selections / select All
11. Paste the image copied above into the selection
Select none
12. Layers / New Raster Layer
13. Layers / Arrange / Send to Bottom
14. Paint it a color of your choice
15. Activate the top layer
16. Layers / Properties / Opacity: Decrease the opacity of the layer until it reaches the color intensity you want
17. Merge visible
18. Effects / Plugins / simple / 4 way average
19. Effects / Plugins / Simple / Diamonds

30. Copy this image (it will remain in memory)

32. Select this edge with the Magic Wand (tolerance/feather=0)
